De még nehezebb, ha nem csak a távolság áll közétek, hanem az IDŐ is.

FELEMELEM A FEJEM, ÉS EGYENESEN RÁNÉZEK.

Most még félszegebben mosolyog, de ugyanolyan kedvesen. Mintha tudná, ki vagyok. Őszintén. Ettől olyan érzésem támad, hogy talán érdemes lenne megismerni, és önkéntelenül visszamosolygok rá.
Még akkor is vigyorgok, amikor befordulok a következő kanyarban. Aztán – mielőtt végiggondolhatnám, mit csinálok – félúton hátrafordulok, és ismét rápillantok.

Eltűnt.

Megpördülök, és a futópályát pásztázom a tekintetemmel. Aztán a padokhoz futok. A lépcső aljánál egy pillanatra megállok, és eltűnődöm, vajon ott volt-e egyáltalán. De végül csak összeszedem a bátorságom, és megiramodom felfelé.

Nincs ott, de biztosan tudom, hogy ott volt. Otthagyta a nyomát: a friss hó összepréselődött azon a helyen, ahol ült. Alul pedig ott a két lábnyom.

És akkor feltűnik még valami.

A saját lábnyomaim egyértelműen kivehetőek körülöttem a porhóban, az ő nyomai azonban nincsenek sehol. Pedig ott kellene lenniük, kétszeresen is – hiszen egyszer odament a padhoz, aztán pedig elment onnan. De sehol semmi, csak a vastag, szűz takaró.
