Barbara öt esztendeje megjárta a poklot. Az akkor tizenhét éves, mindent a pillanat szépsége alá rendelő lányt megkísérelték eltenni láb alól. Barbit a lehetőségek városáig, New Yorkig üldözi a múltja, ott igyekszik új életet kezdeni, tervei azonban sorra kudarcba fulladnak. Krisz öt éve tartó, tökéletesen gondtalannak hitt párkapcsolata egyik pillanatról a másikra összeomlik. A kiábrándult fiú New Yorkba menekül, hogy tisztázza felkavart érzéseit. Éppen amikor a háta közepére sem kívánja a társaságot, a sors összehozza egy agyontetovált, illegális küzdősportot űző férfival. A titkoktól kemény álca azonban nagyon is sebezhető szívet takar, amely most könnyen megrepedhet…
Barbibébi története öt évvel az első kalandot követően folytatódik! Mennyit változik az ember a felnőttkor küszöbét átlépve? Hogyan találunk valódi önmagunkra, pontosabban arra a személyre, akit majd néhány év múltán ismét átértékelhetünk? Áldozni kell-e a harmóniáért, és utóbbi egyenlő-e a boldogsággal?
